Interesting! What is solar energy? Solar power is energy from the sun that is converted into thermal and electrical energy. It is the most abundant and cleanest renewable energy source available in India.

There are three main ways to harness social energy: –

– Photovoltaics

– Solar heating and cooling

– concentrating solar power

India is fourth largest carbon emitter with its population of 1.3 billion people with power sector contributing majorly to the same. Many such large projects are proposed in India for solar energy some are listed as below are: –

– Thar desert of India with (700to 2,100GW) power generation.

– Jawahar Lal Nehru solar mission (20,000) MW solar energy to be generated till 2022.

– Gujarat’s pioneering solar power policy aims to give total of 1,000 MW of solar energy.

The government of India is keen on using renewable sources of energy and is taking several measures to promote solar energy and go -green techniques as well. For this initiative government has proposed some of the policies to boost solar energy in the country. The government intends to reduce the capital expenditure in building solar plant, to make it economically viable for the entrepreneurs to get it involved in solar power franchise.

Solar energy can cater more than 65% of our entire need of power. We have to focus on following future plans of installing large projects in Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, where as in Uttar Pradesh ,Banda district is most suitable location to cater our need in Uttar-Pradesh .We also have to be focus on installing and implementing some projects  for roof top solar energy that may helpful for more than 50% of our household electricity and power.

“Go Green instead of giving it away.”
