The price of a 14 kilogramme domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by ₹3.50 with immediate effect by oil marketing companies (OMC). With this hike, a 14 kg cylinder now costs ₹1003 in Delhi.

The domestic LPG price in Mumbai will be 1002.50 per cylinder. Consumers in Kolkata, on the other hand, will have to pay ₹1,029 for a 14-kg cylinder. At the same time, starting today, a client in Chennai will have to pay ₹1,058.50 for a household cylinder.

The rise comes after a ₹50 per cylinder price increase on May 7. Prior to that, on March 22, prices were raised by the same amount.

The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by approximately ₹102 to ₹2,355.5 in Delhi earlier this month. A 5-kg LPG commercial cylinder’s price was also raised to ₹655.

Following the assembly elections in five states, the prices of gasoline, diesel, and LPG have been steadily rising. The price of a subsidised home LPG cylinder increased by ₹50 on March 22. There was no change in the price of household LPG cylinders after October 6, 2021.
